Hunters Creek POA – Neighbor Email Help

A large portion of our neighborhood communications come via email. We have a directory of all homeowners who have submitted their email addresses in the past, but we do not have them all. It would be greatly beneficial to everyone if we had as many Email Addresses on file as possible! So, if you know of a neighbor who is not receiving our emailed communications, we ask that you please have them reach out to Granger Smith at or Kandy All at so that they can be added to this listing. Thank you for your help!

Hunters Creek HOA Members,
Although COVID 19 has prevented us from having open member meetings, your board has continued to meet remotely and in person to continue the work of the HOA . We are sending this letter to touch base and give an overview of activities since we last met.

All board meeting minutes are posted for your review on the Hunters Creek website, Please use this resource for other information you may need. Also, on the website, you will find board members name and contact information. Please feel free to contact t any board member with any questions or concerns regarding Hunters

The Reserve Advisers were commissioned to complete an in-depth reserve study to determine the appropriate dollar amount to maintain in the HOA reserve. The study has been completed, and the board is reviewing their recommendations.

An ad hoc committee has been established to bring a 3-to-5 Year Plan to upgrade amenities – i.e. Lighting, Landscaping, Signage, etc., for the improvement and maintenance of the community. If you have any suggestions for upgrades or needed maintenance, please notify the board.

Any incident of vandalism that you observe, we ask that you please report it to the police and to our county representative, Robbie Templeton at, 864-942-8008 (work). The more attention brought to the acts of vandalism, the better our chances are for corrective action.

Image result for golf cart illegal

It has been brought to our office’s attention that there have been several incidents involving minors operating Golf Carts throughout the community. The most recent situation involved a homeowner almost hitting a Golf Cart that crossed the road from the Cart Path without stopping to check for traffic first.

South Carolina Law (56-2-105) requires that all persons who operate golf carts to have the following:

  • * A valid SC Driver’s license
  • * Registration Certificate
  • * Proof of liability insurance

We are asking that parents please restrict the use of driving a golf cart to only those who qualify to do so, and those who are legally allowed to operate one to please be mindful of the traffic flow within your neighborhood. All families with children and golf carts should remember the specific laws that govern anyone under the legal driving age.

With school beginning soon, the amount of traffic through the neighborhood is only going to increase in the afternoons. If you are a golf cart-owning parent within the community, please help us maintain neighborhood safety. We thank you for your help with this matter.
