We are currently experiencing issues with debris piles being placed out before the 22nd of the month, being placed on vacant lots owned by other property owners or on common areas owned by the Association, and piles exceeding the size limitations. Please make sure that you read over these guidelines to help keep this function as sustainable and successful as we possibly can. Thank you for your immediate cooperation with these policies:

Greenwood County

• Yard Waste Piles should be positioned along the edge of the adjoining roads next to the homeowner’s property. (Care should be taken to prohibit that piles do not become traffic hazards).
• Yard Waste is to be defined as Vegetative Materialsuch as:

• • • Clippings generated by cutting the grass
    • Pruning debris from shrubbery
    • Leaves
    • Small Tree Parts

• Items NOTconsidered to be Yard Waste include:

• • • Debris generated by any lot clearing, professional tree removal services, or commercial lawn care/ landscapers
    • Discarded furniture, appliances, old lumber, wire, landscape timbers, garden hoses, or plastic containers
  • Leaves, needles, and small clippings must be bagged to prevent blowing off their trucks.

• Greenwood County pick-up will be limited to a Once a Month, Last Week of the Monthperiod for all homeowners. Please have piles positioned on YOUR PROPERTY NO EARLIER than the 22^nd of each month.
• Debris Piles:

• • • Piles will approximate Seven cubic yards in volume (Ten Foot Length, Six Foot Wide, and 3 Foot High), and pick-up will be limited to Twenty Bags of Yard Waste per month.
    • Two small trees with parts cut in lengths no longer than 4 feet and 6 inches in length will be accepted for pick up
  • Piles should be positioned along the edge of the adjoining road next to the homeowner’s property and not any vacant lot or common area. (Care should be taken to prohibit that piles do not become traffic hazards).

• Any debris generated by Contracted Work is not to be included in homeowner piles
• While mulch-cutting of grass and fallen leaves is encouraged, cut grass and other yard waste, such as cuttings from shrubbery, decaying tree limbs, etc. should be bagged and/or piled within in the street right-of-way – ONLY ON YOUR PROPERTY. Please keep your yard debris off of any vacant lot that may be located near your residence.

Abbeville County

There is currently no scheduled service by Abbeville County or any Waste Removal Contractors for this section of the neighborhood. Please plan accordingly, and take your debris to off-site waste removal centers.
